The Dell Studio 17 Notebook

So after this whole fire business went down I had to go out and get a new laptop. I have always been very happy with the customer service that Dell provided so I figured I should go that route again. After looking through the many models and messing with customization I ended up with a Dell Studio 17.

Ok first let's look at what I use my laptop for:

  1. Graphic and Web Design
  2. 3D and Motion Production
  3. Some gaming though I have migrated to my PS3
  4. Mobile Home and School workstation
  5. The occasional programming and word processing

Pownce!

I'm on Pownce There are so many social networking platforms out there it is hard for me to choose which is really changing the way things are done on the internet. Some networks have pieces from others and some allow you to integrate all of them together. Pownce is a lot like most and really isn't any different but it is trying hard to bring together all networks in one.

Twitter Anyone?

Anyone else Twitter? I had first learned about Twitter when I was at frogdesign. I guess that is when it was starting to take off most Spring07. At the time I didn’t find much use to it but now that I have a network of technologists and designers across the country I am informed pretty quickly about newest things in our field without having to look anymore up. There are some people who just post about their random lives but the most on my network give useful links and updates to the field as a whole. Many of which I have are on the Adobe AIR team.
